Murano Glass Pendant

Handblown Murano glass trumpet pendant by Lino Tagliapietra for Effetre c.1970s Italy. Striped opaline glass creates a diffused illumination. Red rim. Original brass ceiling sconce and ring have been polished. Fully rewired to Australian Standard with two metres of black flex and a hanging wire that can be adjusted to suit your ceiling height.

Lino Tagliapietra (born 1934) was raised on the island of Murano and became a Maestro Vetraio (Master glassmaker) at a remarkably young age.
