Teak and beech extendable dining designed by Poul Volther, produced c.1950s Denmark. The table has been fully restored, sanded and polished, finished in a low sheen hard shellac. The extensions are 'clip on leaves' and is extendable via rails that slide out from underneath the table. The extension leaves can hang or be unclipped and stored separately. Nicely made with solid beech base, tapered curve to centre and contrast teak "socks".
