Lounge chairs designed by Alvar Aalto. Model '36/ 401' lounge chairs, designed c.1930s and produced in the 1970s by Artek, Finland. Cantilevered steam pressed solid beech frames upholstered in aqua and blue Hallingdal wool upholstery. The frames have been polished, upholstery in original condition, very light wear consistent with age.
