Born in New Zealand in 1942, self taught Arnaud Barraud has continued his pottery apprenticeship for over 50 years. Driven by the process and function a pot provides, Barraud is meticulous and continuously reinvigorated by fine tuning the forms and glazes he uses. "If someone is using one of my pots regularly and they experience that micro lift of the spirit each time that we get from any object that is well designed, then I have achieved what I need."
